Pitpat 2 Dog Activity Monitor Review

Dog owners turn to wearable devices for health tracking. For certain apps, doggy is also indicated by GPS. They synchronize with our Bluetooth phones, are water-friendly and are battery-lasting for most dogs–as a friendly splash, after all.

We have a puppy, he is named Chase, he's a helpful puppy, but he's encouraged us to tap through the doggy tech company. One is PitPat, a tiny tool that you place on the collar of your dogs, and that tracks what you do. PitPat is now in its second generation, and they have sent one to test Chase. PitPat is your dog's activity monitor, measures how much your dog does and what kind of exercise and provides you with information on distance and burned calories. The product you are currently able to purchase is available on your own only for £ 39, or you can sign up for PitPat Life, which amounts to £ 4 per month.

The Unboxing

The tool comes with just a few instructions in a small plastic box. The display is powered by a battery and is pre-installed with a computer. Power consumption is low, so I expect the battery to last long, but substitutions are readily available and cheaper. Behind a little ripped sheet, the battery is installed. An orange paw print button is at the front of the device and is surrounded by a circular light that lights up when pressed. It is attached with a piece of velcro supplied to the collar of your dog. When mounted, the column is tiny, lightweight and very stable. It's sweet to the boy, too, without any opposition. The unit is water-resistant, so it doesn't even have to come off.

The configuration was quite necessary. Next, the free software available on iOS and Android, and the on-screen instructions for building an account must be downloaded. You may need to create a profile for your dog when you're set up (if you have more than one app, you may have several profiles). We are interested in sex, weight, and age and prescribe a reasonable amount of training appropriate for a healthier lifestyle. If it is finished, you must add the power of Bluetooth to your smart computer. Click the button on the laptop when promoted on the screen and wait until you have the two sets. Because Bluetooth is the primary feature of the device, you must be next to your dog with the app open and click on the button. When you are close to the app, you can not update your results.

Performance

The PitPat device and application are quite smooth, and the speed with which the data is updated when you hit the button impresses me. The app shows the information regularly, like how much your dog has done to go, ride, play, rest, and drink. It indicates total miles, total calories burned, and whether you have met your predefined target or not. In the lower part of the screen, there is also a timeline diagram, where you can see the data from that time during the day, and you can drag your cursor around the map.

Also, in the app, you can control your dog's weight, but that must be submitted on a weekly basis manually, so you can use it as a tool to lose or gain weight for your dog. You can earn awards depending on the success of your dogs. It's weird, fun, and awards like "Your dogs went up and down the mount Snowdon." It's fun. There are also the bonus items that I couldn't try, but you can get free prices and/or discounts for your dog from what I've heard. We have reached our initial suggested target of 50 minutes, and then our set goal of 95, as you can see from those figures above. Probably, we broke it. It is not clear how precise the tracking is because, while the distances and timings often seem to be appropriate, they often seem very high, and the tracker may miss a scratch on his neck or something similar. It's very easy to search and to find what you are searching for. You can see the software laid out well.

Conclusion

The display for PitPat behavior is beautiful to see what your dog has done. This is especially useful if your dog wants to lose weight, for example, or if you have a dog walker to your house, you can check to see whether they have already taken your dog for a walk or not. I'm not entirely sure of its accuracy.
